Welcome to IIT's Career Management Center

The Career Management Center at Illinois Institute of Technology invites you to join the ever-expanding list of prestigious companies that hire IIT students and graduates with positive results.

At IIT, we equip students with the academic skills to excel, as well as with the social and behavioral skills required to succeed in the workplace. IIT students gain these skills through our nationally recognized "Interprofessional Projects Program," Co-operative Education and Internship Programs, competitive research programs, the global and cultural diversity at IIT, and through career workshops and counseling.

Our mission is to partner with employers to find and help students and alumni realize their career goals. Our initiatives, including the Quality of Hire, and the Preferred Employer and Employer Partner Programs; Career Fairs and On-campus Interviewing result in aligning employers with the candidates that best meet the company's needs at a minimum cost of time and money.

e-Recruiting transition to NACElink

Hello IIT Employers,

During the month of April, the Career Management Center (CMC) will be transitioning from the current eRecruiting job and resume database to the NACElink Career Services Manager System (CSM). The new system will provide more options for employers, with an easy to use interface. It will also help the department with better methods of data collection, for example, paperless co-op/internship evaluations.

April 30th will be the last day CMC will provide access to eRecruiting. On May 1st we will provide users with access to NACElink only. During the upcoming weeks data from eRecruiting will be transferred to NACElink. As a precaution we are asking all users to save all information (i.e., job descriptions) onto your computers to serve as your backup. In the month of April we will be sending instructions on how to login to the new NACElink system. We will be asking contacts to update your information in NACElink at the time of initial login. Training videos will be available during the transition period, but only through your access to NACElink.

Additional information regarding the transition will be provided in the upcoming weeks. If there are any questions, please contact the CMC at 312.567.6800 or cmc@iit.edu.

IPlease note also that our 2009 Fall Career Fair will be on Thursday, September 17th. This is an excellent opportunity to recruit students and alums for co-op, internship, and full-time positions. Registration is now available online at http://www.cmc.iit.edu/employers/careerFair/index.asp.

Thank you for your continued IIT support.
