Congratulations on your decision to apply for Co-op. Please click on the appropriate button below.
Students who are currently working as co-ops and wish to renew for the Spring (or request an extension to work Dec 21 – Jan 9 only), can submit their Work Term Evaluations and on-line applications to the CMC after Nov 9.
Students who plan to begin a coop or internship this Spring can make an appointment to meet with their CMC advisor after Nov 23, to submit their forms for approval and processing.

Cooperative Education Program First-Time
Registration Instructions
Please complete Steps 1-3 below to register for the Cooperative Education Program.
All paperwork must be signed by the student, the faculty advisor and the work-site
supervisor before it will be accepted by the Career Management Center. NO copies
or faxes will be accepted. A job offer letter that includes your start date, your
title and your salary, and a detailed job description must also be submitted with
this paperwork. International students, please make sure that you complete the Faculty
Advisor Form with the added CPT Recommendation Form in Step 1. If you are changing
employers or if you have completed one degree program at IIT, and are beginning
a new degree program, but continuing your co-op, please fill out the paperwork in
steps 1-3, and contact your CMC Advisor to find out if any additional paperwork
is required.
Students must attend an Introduction to Cooperative Education & Internship workshop before applying for a co-op or internship.
