OCI is held in the Career
Management Center and the timeline is as follows:
Fall - September to December
Spring - February to May
On-Campus Interviewing (OCI) is when companies come
to campus and interview potential candidates for permanent full-time positions
and students interested in co-operative education or an internship.
Interviews are pre-selected
by the company prior to the recruiters’ visit. Students must be registered
with the Career Management Center and receive an IIT e-Recruiting account
in order to participate. Once registered, students may log into their
account and go to the section that says "jobs with interview schedules."
These are the companies who are scheduled to interview candidates on our
campus. After reading the job description and hiring requirements, you
can then apply for interviewing consideration as long as it is before
the deadline date. You will be notified at least one week before the scheduled
interview date if you have been selected or not. If selected you will
then go into E-Recruiting and sign up for a time. All interviews are held
at the Career Management Center located on the 2nd level of the Galvin
Library.
PLEASE NOTE:
If you are unable to keep your scheduled interview appointment, please contact ReLandra Lindsey within 24 hours. Failure to show up for your scheduled interview or contact Ms. Lindsey will result in the loss of your e-Recruiting privileges for 6 months. Further infractions of the CMC's interview policies will result in the loss of your e-Recruiting access permanently.
