Learn the do’s of proper business meal from an etiquette expert. While eating a multiple course meal, learn everything from proper meal manners to social customs, and how to network or interview over a meal. There is a $10.00 non-refundable fee which is due to the Main Campus Career Management Center.

At this workshop you will learn the fundamentals of creating a resume that will impress employers and hopefully lead to employment.

"Job Search Strategy Workshop". This workshop will challenge traditional
thinking and ideas of how to land a role in a company that best fits you.

This is a two part workshop. During the first half all students will learn how to qualify for, enroll in and renew their Co-op. Understand the difference between Co-ops and Internships, and the different requirements for participation in each. (This workshop is required to participate in Co-op or Internship).
Once the first half is completed United States Citizens and Permanent Residents will have the option of leaving. During the second half of the workshop, the International Center and CMC will present on the policies and procedures all international students must know before accepting off-campus employment as part of their allowed Curricular Practical Training (CPT) time.
After brainstorming and creating a basic resume, and before going to the Career Fair, come to the CMC to get your resume critiqued by a Career Advisor. Walk-in hours are as follows:
Establish a plan for being successful at a career fair. Learn how to prepare beforehand,
what you should do while at the fair, and how to follow-up in order to increase your chances of getting the job you want.
The CMC's new Certified Candidate Program gives you access to our preferred employers before other IIT students and alumni.
By successfully completing a series of requirements, you will be certified as a candidate who we believe will be a successful employee at our preferred employers' companies.
This orientation will familiarize you with all of the requirements for becoming a Certified Candidate.
